Kent Washington A Spot Where You Can Look Upon The Mountains And The Crashing Surf Without Even Turning Your Head!
WA Kent located in King county Washington is one of those truly incredible places that seem to stay etched into your memory for many years after your visit. The scenery is really spectacular. Where else can you play golf while taking in the sounds, smell and view of the crashing surf and be gazing at a huge, tall, snow capped mountain all at the same time?
Most of the year, especially in the mornings the air is crisp before the heat of the day replaces it with its swelter, you can walk out onto the greens and feel as if you are the only person in the world. Although of course you’re looking at manicured grass and if you really were the only person in the world that would be a lot of grass to have to keep mowed.
The opportunity to find unbelievably quaint, charming and cozy bed and breakfasts abounds if you know where to look. WA Kent is a veritable treasure trove of inviting B&B’s and small country Inns that will have you thinking why in the heck you would ever in your life want to stay in a basic hotel any time soon. When you price shop and compare, the cost difference is usually negligible but the difference in your overall experience and level of satisfaction is simply off the charts.
Why else would you have WA Kent high on your wish list of top places you would really like to visit as soon as you get a chance? Well, just for starters the Seattle Center with all of its rides and attractions. And of course as you know it boasts being the home to the space needle with its revolving restaurant and incredible elevator ride to the top. It is the gateway to the Puget sound and one of my personal favorites to visit whenever I get the chance, Orcas Island. And by the way the Orcas Hotel is actually a cozy, very Victorian Bed And Breakfast . I put the ferry ride and the visit to Orcas Island on my must “to do” list for the Seattle, Kent Washington area for sure.
There is of course the truly world famous Pike Place Market on 1st and Pike Streets that is an international smorgasbord of culinary and shopping delights. Not to mention that on most any given day free live entertainment can be had on the sidewalks of the market. Well, it’s not 100% free because you really should throw a few bucks into their collection pot.
Yes, a visit to good Ole WA Kent might be just the thing to rekindle your spirit and give you a much needed respite from all the worries our economy has brought into your life. It truly is a place you will have fond memories of for many a year into the future.
