Do Your Cloth Diapers Have Stones In Them?
I recall few months ago a cloth diaper mama on Twitter inquired what everybody did for “cloth diaper stones”? I did not know what she was talking about. Not that that is totally surprising, I can’t feasibly know the whole thing there is to know about cloth diapers.
Definitely, as it always works out when you raise your eyebrow at somebody like they are nuts, God helps you to see how wrong you are.
As you know I want my bum genius organic aios. Like them. However they aren’t seamless. It’s most likely because of the extreme use they get, but our bgo aios are the first cloth diapers to wear out. By wear out I mean get ratty holes along the legs and where the insert is sewn in.
They are still wholly serviceable but they are a bit uneasy looking – and I know this because as I was changing a cloth diaper at my mother-in-law’s abode as my sister-in-law watched on I realized just how grave they looked.
Anyways. Another imperfection to my bum genius organic aios is the formation of these small hard “stones”. Not just one or two but numerous bumps throughout the insert. Truly unusual.
For the reason that I didn’t know what they were I soaked them for 24 hours in Rockin Green detergent. It seems all over I turn someone is recommending it for something so I gave it a shot. But, for these stones nothing happened.
Seeing as the diaper with the most stones is a zinnia bum genius with a pink inner with multiple ratty holes in it I figured I could give up this one for examination and slash into the insert. I was expecting for the nastiest. Truly. I was thinking poop residue.
But you know what it was?? Cotton fuzz. Like the fuzz you wash out of your baby’s toes when you take off their charming white socks. No wonder Rockin Green didn’t do anything.
How did they get there though??
I truly don’t know. The insert is organic cotton so it isn’t fully shocking that these developed. Though still odd. Would I still put it on Sterling even with the rough surface against his skin? Maybe. If I needed a diaper and all the others were dirty, certainly. Might it trouble him? Perhaps. I’m thinking it would be as exasperating to him as it would be to us if we had a fuzz ball in our sock under our foot.

An Appraisal Of Envibum Cloth Diapers
When I study cloth diapers reviews aren’t the only aspect I consider. As a matter of fact, the mothers behind the diaper can lead me to procure without even reading a single appraisal.
That will be the case with Envibum cloth diapers for many of you. Of course, I’ll present you my evaluation but first I want you to “meet” the Envibum wahms and understand their mission.
Rachel Sibel is the accomplished creator and seamstress who created Envibum. She took a minute to share with me how Envibum came to be.
I am a mother of three with our 4th on the way. I started cloth diapering 13 years ago with my first. I have been a seamstress for over 20 years preparing everything from custom wedding dresses to long curtains. My daughter was my first to try my handcrafted diapers and I had several years to perfect the design.
I am a matter-of-fact mother with a preference on organic. Hence I have most of the time used cotton for my baby’s bum. Undemanding wash and care was and is a requirement for my family. Early last year I was rocking our newborn son while praying for some of our friends as the Lord guided.
I felt God instructing me to manufacture and sell the diapers I had made for all my children. I said out loud, “Is that You Lord?” It was such a understandable thought that I was either going nuts or I was being given a plan and an assignment. I said, “OK God lets discuss about it.” So as I sat rocking and praying I blurted out the name “envibum” and then laughed out heartily at the insight that I was just presented the name of our new company.
I told my sister first about everything that I was feeling. I knew I had to run it by her as a test before telling my husband how our life was going to change forever. She was so excited and as we chat I as a joke said, “ya, our tag line should be helping families grow healthy, wealthy, and dry.” She replied with, “yes, it should be!” I sat my husband down and revealed to him the good news that God was instructing us to make diapers. (I chuckle now at how little I knew about what God had in store for us.)
My husband without more ado and as we talked we got more and more thrilled! We got to work right away and the whole lot fell into place. We have mostly grown from word of mouth. We have an amazing team of mothers that have lent their babies and time for testing and tweaking.
We now distribute our diapers all over the world. Our focus is babies’ wellbeing and helping families. We love the benefits of saving the Mother Nature but feel investing in people’s lives is where God’s heart is. We employ the supreme quality of fabrics and my perfectionism in sewing comes out in our quality control all along the way. We have wonderful seamstresses who put their love into each diaper as much as their gift.
We are fortunate to have families’ cloth diaper with Envibum. We are twice as lucky to be able to give to those in need at the same time! We are always prayerfully seeking for new ways to give. Giving financially with each diaper bought and sharing a mom4mom cover to a mom and baby in need with each one purchased encourages us to get the word out about Envibum. We actually are pleased for all our Envibum parents and worldwide family. God bless.
The Envibum cloth diaper is a splendid luscious green minky outer with a waffle organic cotton inside. It is a one-sized all-in-one with a pocket for adding additional absorbency. I love that Envibum provides us with a one-sized diaper without all the snaps and adjustments.
The fit is close and absorbency has been good. Above all I want the color and feel! Envibum also has the mom4mom cover, which I feel is a must-have in every stash. You can’t mess it up! I have had many concerns with “rinse and reuse” covers not really being “rinse and reuse”. Either the binding gets soaking or the fabric part. The mom4mom cover is fully sheathed and only PUL is uncovered. This allows for a true rinse and instantaneously reuse cover. A meager $130 is all it would take for you to cloth diaper your baby for many, many months. (2 covers + 12 t-shaped liners are listed at $129.99)
I am very energized about this cloth diaper. Not just because it’s a cool product but because they have a empathy for giving back to those in need. When you check out their web site look for the red Envibum! They will donate $2 to the Salvation Army for help to Haitians for every red Envibum you purchase.

Tips To Conceive A Son-Methods To Sway The Chances
When being absolutely honest, most couples would admit that they would prefer what is referred to as a “balanced” family-that is one made up of children of both sexes. The children you have will shape your family and your family’s future forever and if there is a chance to have a son as well as daughters, then why not? There are a number of tips to conceive a son naturally which you can use which will sway the odds.
First of all, understand that your feelings are completely normal. There is nothing nicer than having a balanced family and there are ways to achieve it naturally, without medical intervention.
If you have searched on the internet, you may have found the number of different tips out there very confusing. However, you should eliminate those based on hearsay or old wive’s tales and concentrate on those which do have a basis in scientific fact.
Understanding a little about how male and female sperm differ is one of the best ways to get started and many tips to conceive a boy naturally are based around these differences. Male sperm is fast and small, due to the lesser amount of genetic material. It also does not live as long as its female counterpart. Therefore, if an ovum is ready and waiting and you have intercourse, you would think the faster male sperm would win, right? Well, it’s not quite so simple. The timing of intercourse is very important, as is knowing when ovulation happens.
Having intercourse before the ovum is about to be released will result in the longer lasting female sperm possibly still being alive when the egg is released, so if you would like to conceive a boy, have intercourse on the day of ovulation and the day following it. Of course, you will need to know when ovulation is happening and to remove any doubt, get hold of an ovulation predictor kit.
Other tips to become pregnant with a boy naturally are based around the pH level of the vagina. Male sperm prefers an alkaline environment and the area closest to the cervix is naturally alkaline in nature. Therefore, having intercourse using positions which favor deeper penetration is beneficial. You could even consider using a weak douche made with baking powder before intercourse.
If you would like to see more tried-and-tested, guaranteed tips to conceive a boy, there is an excellent guide for how to become pregnant with a boy which is based on scientific rather than anecdotal principles. It includes all the information you need to successfully choose your baby’s gender and has been proven to be 95% accurate.
